The JAI by ONESIAM community recently took members on an extraordinary journey at the iconic Korea Furniture Museum during Frieze Seoul 2024. Known for offering unparalleled access to exclusive events, JAI by ONESIAM curated an evening that beautifully combined art, culture, and cuisine, while reinforcing its mission of fostering global collaborations and visionary connections. In partnership with Hyundai Department Store, Gentle Monster, and Frieze, the event exemplified JAI’s borderless vision by bringing together influential figures from diverse industries and countries. 

This event not only immersed members in the heart of Korean culture but also created a platform for cross-cultural dialogue and potential future partnerships that extend beyond traditional borders, promoting JAI’s global reach and impact.

Upon entering the event, a select group of esteemed guests, including Lee Minho (Boys Over Flowers), Lee Jung Jae (Squid Game), and actress Joomi Park (Beautiful Seoul), were welcomed by the serene beauty of traditional Korean architecture. Joined by Thailand’s Ambassador His Excellency Tanee Sangrat and a few prominent figures like Lim Saeryung (VP of Daesang Group) and Kim Hankook (CEO of Gentle Monster), they strolled through the tranquil gardens, with traditional music adding to the intimate, opulent setting.

At the heart of the evening was an exceptional culinary collaboration by Siam Piwat Group, featuring Chef Dej Kewkacha, a JAI founding member and recipient of the prestigious "La Liste Pastry Talent Of The Year" award, alongside Michelin-starred chefs Jungsik Yim from Jungsik in Seoul and New York, and Wilfrid Hocquet from Blue by Alain Ducasse. The trio crafted a six-course dinner that embodied the theme of "Journey Without Borders," seamlessly combining flavors from Korea, Thailand, and France. Each dish reflected the chefs' diverse culinary backgrounds, with Chef Jungsik Yim remarking, "Bringing together Korean, Thai, and French influences in one meal felt like a celebration of our shared culinary heritage."

As part of the evening’s immersive experience, guests were also treated to an exclusive custom-made gift from Gentle Monster, one of Korea’s leading avant-garde eyewear brands. Each attendee received a metallic memento, allowing them to redeem eyewear of their choice from Gentle Monster stores globally.
