JAI x Vogue A "Not-So-Usual" Dinner

On a recent evening, the air at Table was charged with anticipation and exclusivity as it played host to the "JAI x Vogue A “Not-So-Usual Dinner". This unique event, co-created by JAI founding members Ford Kullawit, Vogue Thailand’s Editor in Chief, and the celebrated Mook Attakanwong, owner of ATT19, offered JAI members an immersive journey through culinary and artistic brilliance.

Nestled within the newly inaugurated art gallery, the dinner was an intimate affair that fused the realms of gourmet cuisine and contemporary art. Members were graced by the presence of Chef Cher Attakarnwong and the artist Kenz, who together crafted a dining experience that was nothing short of a masterpiece. Each of the eight courses served was a reflection of cherished memories and artistic narratives, presented in a manner that encouraged interaction before consumption.

The dinner unfolded as a canvas of flavors and stories, where every dish, uniquely presented—even using a cloth hanger to symbolize life’s journey— spoke of the artist’s personal and profound journey from Melbourne to Thailand. The collaboration spotlighted the intimate connections between food and art, creating not just a meal, but a profound storytelling experience.

Accompanying the culinary delights was an art exhibition that further emphasized the fine aesthetics of the evening. The event drew together people from diverse industries, fostering a community committed to the growth and celebration of Thai artistry.

Looking back, the "Not-So-Usual" Dinner wasn't just an event; it was an exclusive passage into the transformative power of art and cuisine. As we reflect on the evening, it's clear that those who attended were part of something truly special. Keep your senses primed—JAI by ONESIAM is sure to continue this inspiring journey of creativity and community.
